Chuchu ya elektrodi ya grafiti ni sehemu muhimu katika mchakato wa utengenezaji wa chuma wa EAF. Ubora wake huathiri moja kwa moja ufanisi na uaminifu wa mchakato. Kutumia chuchu za ubora wa juu ni muhimu ili kuzuia ajali za elektroni na kuhakikisha mchakato laini na wenye tija wa utengenezaji wa chuma. Kulingana na data ya tasnia, zaidi ya 80% ya ajali za elektroni husababishwa na kuvunjika kwa chuchu na kujikwaa kwa miguu. Ili kuchagua chuchu inayofaa, mambo yafuatayo lazima izingatiwe.
